Cesvaine beer has reived the 150 years old traditions of brewing in Cesvaine, which were first started by the manor’s brewery in 1865. Following the museum’s materials and thanks to participation by locals, authentic beer bottles and labels were found based on which the design of modern bottles was developed.
Cesvaine brewery is among smallest craft breweries in the Baltics. Beer is boiled using alder fire and then held in an oak tub. Beer gets it clear colour and taste from top quality ingredients and slow brewing process as beer is aged in a barrel for at least 30 days.
